LIMITATION OF FORCES. This is the crucial point of the standard.
CONTROL UNIT.

In respect of different types of "USERS" and different "ZONES" where the "MACHINE" can be installed, see on page "ZONE".

In case of the breakdown of the "MACHINE", a control unit has to be installed :

Beginning of the breakdown To = 0 second	the "MACHINE" does not have to exert a force superior to 400 N (1400 N in some cases)
Td = 0,75 seconds	the force maximum exerted by the "MACHINE" has to be inferior to 150 N ( about 15 KG of pressure).
Ts = 5 secondes	the residual force maximum exerted by the "MACHINE" has to be inferior to 25 N ( about 2,5 KG of pressure).

The limitation of forces is resumed by this chart :

Depending on the kind of latch, this chart shows the dynamic acceptable forces,
during the first period To / Td of 0,75 seconds.

Between the closing sides and the opposite sides
Gap of movement zone between 50 mm and 500 mm	Gap of movement superior to 500 mm

Between flat zones of a surface superior to 0.1 m, different from closing sides.² No side is smaller than 100 mm
