NOTICE OF RECEIPT / OFFER OF MAINTENANCE CONTRACT.
NOTE : This article should facilitate the compilation of the best dossier by the "INSTALLER".
Some people are thinking that in the standard the obligation to sign a contract of maintenance does not represent a must or that this contract might even be useless.
That's right but in some points of the standard (cf : EN 12453 5.1.1.6.f ; EN 12453 5.5.1.d ) you can find the obligation to have regular correct maintenance. This aspect of the standard puts the "INSTALLER" at a disadvantage with the consumer.
A document signed by the "CONSUMER" in which he accepts or refuses a contract of maintenance might be an important element in favour of the installer.
By signing the document the "CONSUMER" accepts :
- that he has been informed about operating the "MACHINE" (in normal situation and in case of emergence).
- that he has been informed about the machine maintenance.
- that he has received all necessairy documents concerning the "MACHINE".
- that he has been informed about the possibility to sign a contract of maintenance "MACHINE".
